In addition to his experience as a manufacturers’ rep for security products, CCTV, fire and intrusion alarms, Steve also spent four years with ADI / Honeywell - Systems Integration Support  and is experienced with all security technology solutions.  But Steve is also a NICET Level IV certified in the sub field of Fire Alarm and a Licensed Planner with the State of Texas, which means that Integrators take notice when Steve speaks technology and design.  Based in Dallas, Steve’s territory includes North Texas Oklahoma and Arkansas.  He began his career in 1979 as a draftsman, designer, and alarm technician for Autocall of the Southwest in Houston, Texas.  During his tenure he was the project manager on the fire alarm system for the tallest building to date in the entire State of Texas, which was the 71-story Texas Commerce Tower.  The project had more than a 400 zone conventional smoke detection and alarm system, which included HVAC control, smoke exhaust control, elevator recall, stairwell pressurization, and notification.  He commissioned the system in 1981.  He has also commissioned a 49-story and a 55-story building.  Steve has performed on several large fire and security projects over the years. Steve started his own company in 1995 and specialized in the retrofit and tenant finish out markets.  For his own company, Steve designed, installed, and commissioned the fire alarm and detection system for the Delta building, Twin Towers, Carrillton Towers (both East and West), as well as a number of schools and Kroger grocery stores.  

Malcolm Scholl                                                                                                                             Malcolm is based in Austin, Texas and provides primary coverage for New Mexico, Central & West Texas, including Waco, San Antonio and El Paso. Malcolm calls on consultants, integrators and distributors.  Malcolm’s educational background includes The University of Connecticut’s Electrical Engineering program and graduate studies in conjunction with the United States Naval Underwater Research Lab in Groton, Connecticut. Malcolm has been a security manufacturers’ rep in Texas for more than six years and has had extensive training in security products including CCTV, fire, intrusion alarms, and associated products. Malcolm is factory trained with enterprise access control solutions namely Integral Intelli-M, Receptors International Security Group (RISG), GVI / RS2 Access Control, Viscount MESH IP Access and in addition he is factory trained on FaceKey Biometrics and Position Technologies.  Factory Trained on video solutions from Integral, Speco Technologies, Bolide, Access Technologies, CTI, Axis Network Solutions, GVI / Samsung and Digital Watchdog.  He was also the National Sales Manager for Penn Keystone/Unimax, Malcolm was responsible for the national rep force as well as major contracts with Xerox, Texas Instruments, McDonnell Douglas and Boeing.  Malcolm has serviced and consulted for Panasonic/Technics, Lucent Technologies (formerly Bell Laboratories), and Coleco Industries in addition to running his own 65 employee manufacturing company.   As an engineer, Malcolm Scholl is very technically savvy with both hardware and software and capable of board level modifications.  He is also a amateur radio operator (KB5RUE), hence he has ongoing experience with RF, power amplification and all aspects of wireless operation.                                                                                                          While in the US NAVY, he was an electronic & crypto technical troubleshooter for the 6th Fleet…obtaining letters of commendation for his efficiency and expertise.
